Testimonials

This section has testimonials from clients of Judi's.  As of December 1, 2009, the FTC mandated full disclosure.   One of the requirements is no fake testimonials.  That's okay - there never were any!  And yet, generally you'll only see first name, last initial, and sometimes a location. We don’t list full names for two reasons:

  • We want to protect their privacy. If anyone wishes to contact someone directly – for instance those who have participated in or completed the retainer program - please call Judi first so that we can obtain the person’s permission
  • Many are employed and need their confidentiality protected for obvious reasons.

Can’t wait to read them!

Hi Judi:
I  can't wait to read them the 5 special reports I ordered! Really enjoyed your teleclass the other week on the "1st Interview". I have also purchased your ebook which I have just started to read.

Absolutely blown away

I have a friend who proofs my cover letters before I send them, so yesterday she reviewed the first one she’s seen since you taught me how to write them. She was absolutely blown away, “This puts every cover letter I’ve ever written to shame. If I got this as a hiring manager, I’d show it to every manager in the office.” To which I replied, “I don’t care if you show it to people, as long as you hire me!” She loved how it was so specific to the ad, etc. – all the things you told me to do! Anyway, just thought you’d enjoy the feedback — she’s a senior level marketing executive, so this was quite a compliment.

No longer a skeptic

I found your site through a web search and 'Find The Perfect Job' was too intriguing to pass up. I was skeptical that the information would be of value since there seems to be so many 'career coaches' and most don't have a clue! I'm also skeptical when things seem to be good to be true but I am no longer a skeptic. I have found the reports, the ebook and the webinars to be worth their weight in gold. I am more confident/personable during interviews and feeling that I am actually in control when I do them. My cover letter addresses what is in ad, and identifying what I am looking for and why.

Testimonials

Judi provides a unique perspective on job seeking.  Her advice incorporates the possible viewpoints of employers/HR departments as well as the job seeker’s personal and professional goals.   Most career coaches have a canned approach and try to fit any client into that formula without actually listening to determine each person’s unique situation.

Judi: Thank you so much.  You really helped me strategize job searches and how to interact with employers based on your experience.  Your experience, your availablity and the Win the View presentation were extremely valuable.  The resume writing experience and result were excellent. Working through the resume information with you helped me better understand my own strengths. I also learned to be a lot more aggressive with follow through and the weekly calls were very helpful.   Your response and attentiveness to your clients always impressed me and I still don’t see how you remember everybody’s job drama

Later, after one of the most arduous, ridiculous, and lengthy interview processes I’ve ever seen in my entire career......:

The recruiter just called and said “You got it.” Her comment was that I owned it and was clearly the right one for the job. She had been working behind the scenes to push it along. She asked what my salary was at [previous employer] and when I told her she said “You are going to be so surprised” when I see their offer.  It is just sinking in and I can’t thank you enough for all your help. I am pretty sure I would have stumbled on those “Why did you leave” and “what have you been doing” questions.  Thanks for all your help and do not hesitate to call on me for any references because your advice and the “Win the View” were the turning point.

I  got a lot of value out of  your teleseminar.  Hearing you state ideas I would not have thought of was very helpful.. Networking. We all have friends but do not think of them as part of a job search network. Business cards with our goal on it. Calling professionals to ask for their assistance (although folks did that to me when I worked!) Also, not to apply for job you are not certain you want . . . (I’m in that dilemma now!) It was an hour well spent.

The hand out and review sheets were especially helpful and the review was an excellent wrap up!  I'm glad you sent a lot of email reminders.  They were helpful to keep me reminded.  I am telling all job searchers about your site . . . and I see lots of them! Keep up the good work because you DO make a difference in the lives of job seekers.

Judi.
I suspected all along that my resume was as bad as you indicate. Thank you for your frank and harsh words. I respect and appreciate your honesty. As you pointed out in your newsletter, something is wrong and it is not the job market, it is how I have been searching. I will henceforth take full responsibility and do what is required to enhance my chances of being hired. Again, thank you for your input.
Sincerely,"
