This person had 5 days to put together their resume, cover letter, and answers to four tough supplementary questions. We made the deadline. This was their first email after they’d dropped off the application package.

Sheesh! I just dropped my envelope off yesterday and they called me today for an interview! Yahoo! That resume and those supplemental answers must have really impressed them! I interview next week! gosh. Thanks for everything Judi, you really helped me to have confidence as I applied for this job. I’ll keep you posted on any further developments!

Judi,
I interviewed this morning, they called my references this afternoon, and she just called and offered me the job! I am so excited! I couldn’t be happier! Thanks for all your help.  I only hope I meet someone soon who will need your help so I can recommend you to them. It sounds hokey, but I really feel as though I may have found my perfect job.

Case Study:
This person is real, but he started work almost immediately, and is on site in a city some distance from where he lives working almost around the clock setting up a Disaster Recover Program to meet a deadline.

Gerry came to one of my webinars. Before it began, he wanted to see an outline. His cash flow was so dire he didn’t even want to spend the $20 unless he could ascertain it would be worthwhile, and politely explained that there were a lot of career coaches out there that had already taken his money and hadn’t helped him. I sent him an outline, and he registered.

When we began working together he had been out of work for five or six months. His big question was how could he get into the oil and gas business with no experience in it? We had one month together. He spent his last month’s mortgage payment on my retainer. I worked every weekend to keep up with him! We did it in four weeks - he got a job with Shell.

He went from skeptical and untrustworthy to giving me his last month’s mortgage payment at the suggestion of his wife, who said “I think she can really help you.” And in 4 weeks, after 5 or 6 months of unemployment, he got a job in in the industry he’d been wanting to get into but had no experience in.

I  found your First Interview teleseminar to be very helpful and informative and give me a great deal of information to help me find out what I need to know instead of waiting to answer their questions.  The handouts were helpful from both a content and availability perspective. I could print it out and not have to worry about having computer access. Overall I find the teleseminars to be insightful. They give me food for thought and help me think outside the box!
