write them more effectively
I took the cover letters class to learn how to write them more effectively. They take a lot of time to write especially when you feel like you have writers block. During the class I learned how to do the first paragraph and with your editing and rewording, learned ways to not have it focus so much on me. The most valuable aspect of the class was getting the letters I wrote back critiqued. I knew you before taking the class because I’ve been reading your newsletters, and I find you very knowledgeable. Having the class write a cold and ad letter was good. Going over them and how to re-word some paragraphs was also really good.
