Perfect Job University

Next classes begin:  early March
Because of the intense degree of 1:1 work,
I  take only 4 students each session

Judi Perkins represents the best in reputable job coaching services.
I had the opportunity to listen to one of Judi's teleseminars which encouraged
me to hire her for a few virtual one-on-one coaching sessions. Whether you
need to shift your strategy in uncovering the right opportunity or to sharpen
your branding presence, she will show you how to execute.

If you are willing to put in the time and effort to achieve results, you will not be
disappointed. Her keen ability to listen and articulate a situation will help you
to develop a solid plan for action to use in both the short and long term. Without
reservation, I highly recommend Judi Perkins to move you forward. Are you
heading in this direction?

There are secrets to making this happen.  Other coaches aren't aware of them,
don't know them,  don't use them.  That's because no one has the background I do.
For that very reason, the essence of this course is not in my newsletters, public
columns or blog.  I save them for clients.

Finding a job you love involves:

  • realizing that it's a skill and it's not a skill at which you excel; there's an
entire iceberg under there you can't even see
  • knowing and understanding the psychology of how a person thinks,
    responds, and behaves
  • focusing on the company, not you.....and focusing on you, not the
company, and the delicate balance and interaction of the two
  • following directions isn't always the most effective way to get results,
and knowing when you can ignore them and when you shouldn't
  • being picky - and understanding why that gets you a job faster
  • realizing it's a process, and knowing how those work together rather
than focusing on a single piece or two

It's a proven 1:1 program

This is the same program I did on a 1:1 retained basis that was responsible
for so many clients accepting offers in 6 - 12 weeks, often having been unemployed
for over a year.  A few accepted offers in areas outside their expertise - areas they
wanted to have jobs in, but had no experience.  I still do retained work, but take
only  2 clients at a time.

I began classes because the retainer was too expensive for so many, even
though I was charging less than  half of what it was worth - and it only benefited
one person.  So in class form, more people can learn and apply what worked for
so many of my retained clients, and at a fraction of the retained program (even
when you're counting the price I did it at, which was absurdly low, considering
the components  are about $2500 a la carte).

What's the cost of not having a job?  What's the cost of trying to do something
yourself that you have niether the understanding nor skills for?  What's the cost
of a scarcity mindset, where you try to conserve money rather than investing
in yourself?

Increase your understanding, increase your effectiveness,
increase your results

By my estimate, most job seekers are operating at about 25 - 30% effectiveness.
No wonder nothing is happening. Besides, it's not the pieces....it's the process
How do you rate the value of knowledge and expertise?  What's your knowledge
worth to an employer?  What's it worth to you?

You don't realize what you don't know....until you learn it.  And as that knowledge
increases, and you begin to understand all the subtle and not so subtle aspects,
you change your methods and directions and see results you weren't able to achieve
before.  AND you take this knowledge with you for the rest of your career.

When it shortens your unemployment, gets you a job that brings in money, and
carries you forward to apply it the rest of your career, that's an investment in
yourself that pays off repeatedly.  Do you believe yourself to be worth it?

Judi is a fantastic job search coach. She has clear and creative strategies for taking
ownership of your career. Her guidelines are simple and she tailors her approach to
match your personality-type motivators. The work she proposes may require some
self-evaluation which can be intimidating but the results are concrete and phenomenal.
Once you engage with Judi, you will find the perfect job and feel valuable in your career!

Here's what you'll receive
:

  • your work individually reviewed and guided by me: based on 22 years of
recruiting and working with hiring authorities from entry level to C-level
executives, sales experience and knowledge from having been a top producer
(straight commission my entire career) and having seen over 500,000 resumes,
plus having a few bumps in my own road similar to those that you've experienced
  • class at the beginning - about 1.0 to 1.5 hours - and open Q & A afterward
  • A recording of each session
  • explicit, how-to directions and psychological, sales-based insight into each
step of each component along the way.  What's the point in doing something
if you don't know how to do it so that it works effectively, and why it's effective
    when done that way?
  • specific scripts for communication with people
  • resume overhauls
  • cover letter learning for 4 different types of letters, each draft of each letter
reviewed and edited together until it's finished
  • networking - on and off line, heavy duty LinkedIn work
  • and one component that completely turns around your job search (it's one
of the secret ones), the one component that is what is responsiblie for the
difference between it being successful and unsuccessful (besides you - after all,
I just give you the wisdom and guidance, you're the one who does or doesn't
    execute it!)
  • a consultation at the end of the full session which will be a full-scale review
and a check point to make sure you stay on track (consultations alone are
$100/hour - but included in this program)
  • a syllabus giving you an overview of the components for each class and the dates
  • prior to each class, a detailed agenda for each class, handouts, access number
    and pin code

I had been fired from a job I loathed. I had gone on several interviews and had gotten to
the last step in the process only to not get selected. Judi helped me realize I had more
to offer than what I was conveying to prospective hiring managers and really helped me
get a sense of confidence about what I was selling - me! To say she has been a great
resource would be to understate her utility; she has been like a best-friend/parent/favorite

teacher and I am all the better for it. I received an offer to work in my chosen field of work

and feel confident I can excel in it.

--D'Andre Davis, GA

I get access to all this?  What's the catch?     There are only TWO spots left!
And this class - intensive, interactive, small teacher: student ratio - will
never be offered again!

Here's the syllabus:  http://ad.trwv.net/t.pl/42307/248745

At an a la carte price, this program is worth at least $4,000 and you'll be getting it for
a fraction of that.  For instance, a la carte, one-hour consultations are $100 each, yet
the classes total 12 hours ($1200) and you're paying even a fraction of that! And don't
forget to include  the time I put in working with each of you between classes,
making notes on your work and giving you feedback.

Can you say dream job!! That's what I have right now. I worked with Judi
on her program and now I am in a job that's perfect for me. Judi's knowledge
on ways to find a job is above the rest. She taught me the importance of a
dynamic resume, the art of networking, perseverance, what to say and what
not to say to prospective employers, and how to market yourself so that you
stand out above everyone else.  If you follow her advice and expertise, you too
will have a job you love.

BIO: Judi Perkins, the How-To Career Coach, was a recruiter for 22 years,
consulting with hundreds of hiring authorities throughout the hiring process.
She’s seen over 500,000 resumes, set up/followed up on over 15,000 interviews,
knows how hiring authorities think and how they hire.  As many of her clients
who have found jobs in 8 – 12 weeks agree, her perspective and method is much
different from that of other career coaches, because her unique background
results in a very counter-intuitive but focused, structured and sequential approach
which encompasses skills, psychology, and sales.

Clients come to understand why the typical strategies in finding a job so often
fail, and learn what to do instead, why, and how, yet never hiding or sacrificing
who they are. She’s been on PBS’s Frontline, Smart Money magazine, articles
for CareerBuilder, MSN Careers, Yahoo Hot Jobs, the New York Times, New York
Daily News, and done radio interviews around the country, currently with a regular
Thursday morning gig with a New Mexico station. She’s also been featured
as an expert in numerous career books.
